MAKING
A SCENE!™ is an educational television
show created written, directed, and produced
by Melann Kahle with the children of her community
to benefit the Brain Injury Association
of Florida.
The show is about Fine Arts and is geared
mainly toward a child audience. Our
friendly troupe of Scene Makers are
students of Melann Kahle's Academy of Performing
Arts.
As an educational project, they are filmed
as they learn how to entertain and as they
learn all aspects of producing live shows
within the TV show.
A true desire to learn,
and a love of performing, lies in the heart
of each and every one of our Scene
Makers™.
Participating in our professionally
produced show builds valuable background experience
for those interested in a future career in
the entertainment industry! Our
first episode aired on PAX, and more episodes
are in post production. As
the show develops, it is ever-changing and
improving as we build on our skills, right
before the viewing
audience's very eyes! Like our show's
symbol, the kaleidoscope,
we strive to
reflect
the pure passion
of the arts. This
innovative, artistic
vision
has
no beginning and no end, and there is no wrong
answer or limit to what we can do! This
philosophy to art produces incredible results,
not only in developing technical
proficiency in performing arts, but also in
helping young people to realize their potential
as creatively thoughtful people in their own
right.
