Kahle Atkinson
Melann
Kahle Atkinson has worked in the teaching and entertainment
industry for over 20 years. She is the owner of Smart
Talent L.A., with headquarters in Santa Monica CA where
she trains and coaches beginning to advanced level youth
and teen talent. Melann prepares young talent to
meet and exceed A-list agency expectations.
Smart
Talent is one of the top youth artist development studios
in the U.S. and has a high success rate. Melann
is the founder of the "Scene Makers," a troupe
that trains with her on a weekly basis and performs in
community-based shows, raising money and awareness for
charities and other philanthropic endeavors. She is a
television producer who created and produced the show,
"MAKING A SCENE! The show that shows kids how to
put on a show," which aired on PAX and featured her
troupe.
Melann
is an experienced teacher and dedicated to helping families
help their child break into the business.
A former elementary school teacher, she now coaches and
represents some of the most promising child and teen actors,
models, singers and dancers in the U.S. She is frequently
asked to privately coach talent as they prepare for auditions
and showcases important to their budding careers.
From
training, to unique performance opportunities, no coach
does so many things with the children's best interest
at heart.
Smart Talent's area of specialization is in guiding and
encouraging youth talent, building their self-esteem,
while assisting parents who want to get their child or
teen into the entertainment business. Melann guides
parents through every step, and offers training and performing
opportunities that instill a love and respect for the
arts, and that are tailor made for each child's realistic
goals and expectations.
